Overview

Voxtel Smart Security Solutions LLC is a fast-growing, SIRA-certified security and ELV systems integrator based in Dubai. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated junior ELV estimation engineer to join our technical tendering and estimation team.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing accurate, competitive commercial and technical proposals for diverse projects. You will work closely with senior engineering teams and procurement to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Tender & Drawing Analysis: Thoroughly review tender documents, drawings, schematics, and Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.
• Quantity Take-offs: Perform accurate estimation and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) generation for various ELV systems.
• Core Systems Coverage: Prepare estimations across key ELV and ICT domains, including the following:

CCTV & ANPR, Access Control Systems, intercoms, Structured Cabling, gate barriers, etc.

• Vendor Coordination: Float inquiries to suppliers and manufacturers, obtain competitive quotes, and perform technical/commercial comparisons.
• Compliance Alignment: Ensure all designs and estimations strictly adhere to local UAE regulatory authorities’ (SIRA/ADMCC/DCD) and telecom service providers’ (Etisalat/du) guidelines.
• Proposal Generation: Assist in compiling comprehensive technical proposals, compliance statements, and commercial BOQs for client submission.
• Data Automation: Maintain and update estimation sheets, pricing databases, and calculation templates using Microsoft Excel & ERP.
• Prepare Shop Drawings – SLDs – As Builts

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in ELV/ICT estimation or design engineering within the UAE.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of IP networking, fiber optic infrastructure, and CCTV architecture.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory standards, specifically SIRA compliance guidelines for security systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for viewing, measuring, and verifying drawing layouts.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight tendering deadlines.
